I am staying only 2days extra

I have t apply for spouse visa . My entry permit is expiring on 8th Sept and application date is 20th sept what happens in that case. I have already applied for visa extension and just got 15 days extension. I don't know if going to Hongkong will help me. Please anyone can help me.
