have marriage visa but want to work

I was just issued a 2 year multiple entry marriage entry permit. Can I get a work permit without canceling my marriage entry permit?

Based on what I know, you can try to find job and ask your employer to provide you the work permit under your current marriage visa. After getting the work permit, you can try to change the marriage visa into work Z type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you can work in China legally.
