Requesting visa by post

I posted my application and passport and received back the passport with a visa stamped inside and a receipt. Is this sufficient? Do I need any other paperwork? I am wondering if any paperwork was left out of my return envelope.
Thank you
Colleen

If the receipt is the pick up slip for your visa, you can go to the embassy to get your visa on the appointed date. You can call them to inquire that if you are worried.

No, the receipt is not the pick-up slip, just a receipt for my payment of fees. Is the stamp inside my passport all that is required for my visa? No other paperwork?

Yes, the visa stamp on your passport is all that required for your visa. No other paperwork is involved.
