Silk Road in late October

Hi, we are planning to join a tour to silk road in late october till early november 2018. How is the weather at that time?

Hi Cathy, due to the geographical location of the main cities across the Silk Road, it is dry and kind of cold and even chilly in the late October. Generally, you will go through from Xian, Lanzhou, Dunhuang, Turpan and Urumqi and all these cities have set in the season of early winter, the temperature is a bit low. And the temperature fluctuates greatly between day and night. So I suggest you bring enough clothes like sweaters, down jackets, hats and gloves to keep you warm in case the temperature changes.
