About:China Customs Declaration

allowed? biscuits and rusk,toothpaste,cold and flu medication, dry soup packets and soup mix

Hi I am going to visit my daughter who is an English Foreign teacher this coming December. I would like to take 2 containers home made biscuits and rusk,toothpaste,cold and flu medication (retail), dry soup packets and soup mix (dry) for her.
Am I allowed to take it or not.

Yes, the things you list can be taken into China. But you must pay more attention to some regualations:
1. the toothpaste cannot exceed 100 ml.
2. you can only take the drugs only for personal use and proper amount, and declare the medication to the customs in advance. You'd better carry the medicine specification, the bill to buy medicine and doctor's prescription.
