About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Japan (shanghai beijing london).

I am currently in China on a single entry visa, and have a return flight booked through Shanghai > Beijing > London, leaving on 13 sept.

However, i would like to visit Japan before I leave, so if i book a flight from japan to shanghai on 13 sept, would i be able to go home via china on a 24 hour free transit?

If you would travel like Japan-Shanghai and Beijing (within 24 hours)-London, you can use 24h twov. No visa will be needed.
