About:Prohibited Items

My flight was cancelled and now we will have a 22 hour layover in Shanghai.

Can I have my luggage sealed or stored by customs in the airport so I can get a motel room and still fly with items allowed in USA or the philippines and cleared by USA security. Protein powder, supplements, vitamins, minerals for personal use in the philippines. None will stay in China or be a gift for anyone in China. Only a connecting flight delayed.

I'm afraid you cannot store your luggage by the Customs and you are advised to put it in the checkroom of the airport, which is also very convenient.
