X1 Visa. I got full scholarship program from one of the Chinese University.

I applied for x1 and got the visa. But, university is asking for 8000 RMB deposit now. And , I concluded to cancel to study in that university. Can I go to China personally and study in other fully funded colleges in that same x1.
