About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Joining a Cruise

We are flying in to Shanghai, staying one night in an hotel and then joining a cruise ship. the ship remains in Shanghai for a day and then goes to Tianjin staying a day and the leaving for Japan.
Are we eligible for the 144 hour transit?

You are not eligible for 144 hours transit without visa because you have two stops in China, which limits you to 24 hours. You must obtain a visa.
