About:Chengdu - Leshan - Emeishan Intercity High Speed Train

Is booking in advance necessary ?

Is it necessary to book the train tickets in advance for a trip in (the beginning of) september? We'd like to have some flexibility because of the weather. Can one book the whole trip to Emei and Leshan just one or two days ahead?

You'd better book in advance to guarantee your trip. The tickets are very hard to get in China, esp during holidays.
