About:China Visa

Australian couple to China - Defacto partner to teach in China and I would like to live with her.

Hello,

We are both Australian citizens and we are in a DeFacto relationship (not married).

My girlfriend wants to teach at an international school in China for 1 or 2 years. I want to live in China with my girlfriend. I do not have a job in China but I may obtain work when I am there. I would like a Visa that allows me to live in China with my girlfriend for 1 or 2 years and I would like to possibly get work over there.

Is there such a Visa? Does China recognize DeFacto relationships for entry permit purposes and what evidence do we need to provide to prove this relationship?

You can apply for one year or more tourist L type with multiple entries from the CVASC in your country to stay with your girlfriend in mainland China.
