About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Shanghai, Zhejiang, and Jiangsu

Hi, we are travelling from Melbourne, Australia via Shanghai, Pudong airport to Los Angeles(LAX).

We are coming back from Los Angeles(LAX), SH stop over then back in Melbourne. We will be staying in SH for at least 6days. Would we qualify for the 144hours visa free then? Thanks
