About:Balagezong - Shangri-la Grand Canyon

Balagezong mountain

Hello!

I would like to know how to move between the different places in the mountain.
After getting there by car or bus, is it easy to move along through Bala village-Grand Canyon-Heaven leading gorge-Stupa? Or do we need a local guide? Are there shuttle buses or we can hike? Are there stairs or not? Are there any restaurants or is advisable to pack some food?
How will the temperature be in the middle of August?
Sorry for the great amount of questions!

Thank you!

Yes, there are tourist buses in the scenic area. I think it is not necessary to have a guide. There are some nice restaurants at the entrance of the scenic area. Surely you can take some snacks.

The temperature may be 10C to 20C and it may rain a lot, so it is necessary to prepare some warm clothes.

Just returned from there. U MUST stay on the bus becauae they go on pre determined routes and give u max 1h per place. All orher busses are full and so there is no guarantee ull get a spot. The busses only visit 4 places, the "tibetan culture" is fake there. The villages were still being buit. Nobody lives there. Hiking is impossible- we got laughed at when we asked... utterly disappointing experience
