UK-Shanghai-Hong Kong - Documents Required?

Hi Everyone,

My partner and I are taking a UK - Shanghai - Hong Kong trip in early October (I understand this trip plan should be fine under the exemption).

I note one of the requirements you need for the application is your ticket to a third country with a confirmed seat and date. Does anyone know if this has to be a physically printed ticket for a future flight? Would a printed confirmation E-Mail (or similar document) suffice? I'm unsure how I would get a physical ticket before the date of the flight!

Many thanks in advance for your advice!

Jack

Since physical tickets pretty much don't exist anymore, Its the confirmation email that contains the ticket number that you need. You don't need the boarding pass or a seat number
