Are Kunming airport lounges actually for sleeping or only for upright seating?

In the pay lounges, you can sleep and the common lounges are just for upright seating.0

Thank you, Polly. When I look at the lounge information, it appears that the lounges are available for day time only and not for sleeping. We will be flying into the international terminal from SFO and are looking for a place to sleep from 11pm to 8 am without leaving the terminal. I have read conflicting information that there is actually a motel within the airport without having to leave so we don't have to get a Permit. Is this true?

Hi, I only know there is a pay lounge and there may be a motel in the airport but I’m not so sure about the latter one, maybe you can ask more specific information for the staff in the airport.0
