About:China Private Visit Visa

Non availability of birth certificate

My grandmother wants to travel to China to stay with his Son for approx 6 months. However visa was denied as his Son doesnot have birth certificate. Also my grandmother do not have any birth certificate. Please suggest a way out of this.
