Singaporean Applying for Student Visa in Thailand

As a Singapore citizen, can I apply for a student X at ANY Chinese embassy or consulate, or do I have to return to my home country? I reside in China at the moment and do not live in Singapore.

If you have valid residence permit or visa in Thailand, you can try to apply for student X type from the CAVSC in Bangkok.

Does entering Thailand under the visa exemption policy count as having a valid visa in Thailand? Or are there restrictions on the visa type? Thank you!

Hi, I think it would be counted as having a valid visa in Thailand. You can try to provide your valid entry record in Thailand for the application.
