About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hrs visa free

Flight from Malaysia > Beijing (6 hrs layover) > NY, USA - are we qualified for the 24 hrs free transit?

then going back from NY, USA > Beijing (11 hrs layover) > Malaysia - are we qualified for the 24 hrs free transit?

Malaysian Passport is not eligible to transit without visa of any length. Visa is necessary

Then you do not need a visa, but leaving the airport is at the discretion of the immigration officer.
