About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Visa Z to Work permit

I will travel to Shanghai with a category Z that I applied for in Sweden (I've received the work permit card as well) My question is; do I need to provide a criminal record from my country to the Entry/Exit Bureau when I apply for the resident permit? I have an old one from last year when I was working in Shanghai for another company. Is that one still valid or do I need to provide a new, updated one? Thanks!

Maybe you need to provide the criminal record from your country to the Entry/Exit Bureau, but I cannot guarantee that. You need to contact them to confirm that beforehand. Usually, the criminal record is valid for 6 months, so you need to provide a new, updated one.
