About:Chinese Consulate in Calgary

cruise Sept 25, 2018 - do I need visa for 3 day stops in Tianjin, Beijing, and Hong Kong

was looking online, appears is 144hr exemption visa for Canadians on cruises stopping in ports in China.
Process appears VERY complicated for applying for Visas to China when only stopping for day. Please advise.

If you enter China from country A to Beijng, Tianjin, and then to Hong Kong without any other stop in mainland China, you are eligible for the 144 hours free transit.
