About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

72 hrs transit visa for UK passport

Travelling back to UK from Delhi via Guangzhou by China southern airlines and would like to spend 48 hrs in Guangzhou. Am I qualify for free 72 hrs free transit? Thanks.

You should provide the filled Arrival/Departure Card, your passport, and an onward ticket with confirmed seat.

YES, an onward TICKET with a confirmed seat, not a printout of a confirmation.

Richard, again, all air tickets are now e-tickets which mean that there's no way to get ahold of the actual ticket itself. I believe you are confusing boarding passes with the actual tickets. These two are not the same thing. A printout of the reservation with the ticket number on it is more than sufficient. As for the term "confirmed seat", it just means that the passenger must not be traveling on a standby ticket.
