My husband has a Z working type. Can I and my child apply for an S1 within mainland China?

Hi, if you currently have valid Chinese visa, you can try to convert it into an S1 type at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB within China. If it can succeed, you don’t need to go back to your home country for that.
