About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

My L visa has just run out. How fast can I get a new one

My next trip to China to visit my son who works there is not until April but I would like to be able to visit at any time in case of an emergency.

Francis, if there is an emergency and you need to get to China asap, you can apply for a tourost visa in your home country, pay the rush fee and get your passport back within two working days
