We have a group arriving on a cruise ship the Diamond Princess for a few hours do we need a visa?

Our group is taking a 15 day cruise on Princess Cruise round trip Tokyo, Japan. Our itinerary includes ports of call to Xiamen for an 8 hour stay and Hong Kong for a 16 hour stay.

You don't need a HK visa. If your trip would be Country A > XIAMEN > Country B, you can apply for 24h twov in Xiamen. No visa is required, either.
