About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

Vietnamese Transit G visa

We will travel to Jeju island(Korea) via stop over PVG(shanghai).

Our flight schedule as below:

1. SGN-PVG( 2 hours stop over )-CJU
2. CJU-PVG ( 8 hours stop over )-SGN

Do we need to have a G or transit free for Vietnamese?

You don't need it because you can enjoy 24h twov in mainland China in both directions.
