About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit Visa for connecting flight from Asea to EU/ UK

I am Vietnamese have residence permit to live in the Philippines.
travel from Manila to EU Schengen area
My flight will be transited at
GusguGuangzhou Baiyun International Airport/ or any of Asean countries that require visa for me to enter
Or other countries such as HK, Dubai , Korea, middle East
As I have checked all the flights from Manila to Schengen EU countries need to transit with connected flights of these countries
I would like to confirm : Am I allowed to transit here without need a transit visa as long as my flight waiting within 24 hrs?
In case, if I need to do self transfer my check in baggage at your airport. Am I allowed to do so without visa is needed?
If I need to apply transit visa how I can apply and how long I need to apply it before my transit time
I have tried to asked all around the these countries Ambassy/ Customer/ immigration but on one answer exactly same even see my Vietnamese airlines said no transit visa required , Dubai airport also confirmed no .
I found from official question stated so . However when I email them directly they told me to contact airline but when I contacted airline they cool to contact immigrants customs office.
So I am being directed around the circle no confirmation from the authoritiew even I took screenshots of where the information I found to them.
I am looking forward to hearing from you

Thank you

Rapunzel, I can only answer you as far as the situation in China is concerned. So, if your entire transit time in China is shorter than 24 hours, you will be covered by 24 hour visa free transit and you do not need any kind of visa. Also, it really does not matter whether you will fly on a single ticket or on two different (separate) tickets. If you plan to travel on two separate tickets, for example, Manila - Guangzhou - Schengen countries, you will declare at check-in in Manila that you will travel to some Schengen country via China using 24 hour visa free transit. They will check your tickets and if your transit time in China is shorter than 24 hours, you will be allowed to board the plane. Upon your landing in Guangzhou, the very first thing that you will do will be to approach 24/240 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by presenting your flight tickets. After a short check, you will be granted a permit and you will head to the immigration. After that you will collect your luggage and perform new check-in. After you have done this formality, you will cross the exit immigration and head to the gate for your flight to some of the Schengen countries. As you can see, you do not need any kind of visa to accomplish your transit in China regardless if you are traveling on a single or on two separate tickets. Please, just keep in mind that your transit time, counted from your scheduled arrival until your scheduled departure has to be shorter than 24 hours. Have a nice journey.
