About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi, Am I eligible for transit visa

I'm a Zimbabwean citizen with a Green Card and refugee travel document going to Thailand I have a 8 hour lay over in Beijing from LA to Thailand and 8 hour layover coming back in Beijing from Thailand to La.

US Green card is not treated the same as having a US Passport for transit without visa. Based on citizenship, you are eligible for the 24 direct transit in both directions. More than 24 hour stop each way would require a visa.
