About:Ticket Types on High Speed Trains

Is it open seating on the bullet trains?

Hi all,

I'm planning to take the bullet train from Longchang to Chengdu tomorrow. Can anyone please let me know if it's open sitting? I would like to seat next to a window, but I just want to be sure that I can choose a seat on arriving at the station.

The seat will be assigned at the time of ticket issuing. Yuo may ask the staff for a window seat, but not always working.

The seats were assigned ramdomly before, but now you can choose by yourself while purchasing if there are tickets available. You can book it on 12306 China Railway.
