About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

Retirement in Dalian

I've been married to my Chinese wife for 7 yrs, we live in Hawaii. I have a 10 yr - L with multiple entries. My wife and I go home to China every year so she can visit her family. We stay 60 days because that's my limit for my visa. My wife wants to move back home, what do I need to do in order to retire & live in China. I have a very good retirement from the fire department & i receive social security. My income is very very good, I don't need to work, I'm 67 yrs old. Sometimes we travel back twice a year.

Hi, if your wife has valid Chinese passport, you can try to apply for family Q1 type. If it can succeed, you can apply for Chinese residence permit at the exit and entry administration of the local PSB after entering mainland China. The residence permit can be valid for one year or more, and it allows you to exit and enter for multiple times within its validity.
