About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Flying LA to Taipei to Shanghai Hongqiao airport, from Shanghai Pudong to Manila to LA

Can I fly from US to Taipei to SHanghai HongQIao AIrport stay 5 days and then fly from Shanghai Pudong airport to Manila and then onto the US?

Yes you can arrive and depart from a different airport in Shanghai so Taiwan > Shanghai > Manila, the flights before Taiwan and after Manila do not matter
