About:Xian Travel

Hello, wish to fly to Xian from Russia and then on to Hanoi.

1 November flight arrives Xianyang 1025
2 November Terracotta warriors
3 November Xian tours
4 November Flight departure 0900 for Hanoi with 2 hr transit Quangzhou then Hanoi
Questions:
Is this acceptable under the 72 hours transit rule ? . Is this done on arrival in Xianyang? . Is there a fee ?

Hi, you can only transit in one city in China then the rule is adaptable. So if you choose to transit in Xian, you can’t go to Guangzhou for another transit, so you may change your schedule or apply for a visa.

Thanks Nick, to clarify ... am not exiting Quangzhou airport ... it is just a normal connection on a ticket to Hanoi ... how-where do you suggest that one best clarifies this issue ? ... all best

Maybe you can choose a flight depart from Xian to Hanoi, then there will be no problem.

No, this cannot apply for the 72 hours transit rule. You need to apply for the visa in advance.
