i am travelling to huangshan from hangzhou.

Question

Since there are only 2 train schedule, i decided to take the morning train and reach there at around 1.15 noon, and take a direct bus to scenic area. So basically, my first day is gone when i arrive at scenic area around 3pm. My day 2, i am not sure if i should do a daytrip to mountain top, or stay on top the mountain. (Is Nov a right time to be there?) There are elders travelling along, so i am worry that there will be too much of walking.  How do we travel in the mountain top? I mean, are all the attractions close to each other, or far from each other. If far, which is the best or must do thing when we reach the mountain top?My 3rd day, i decided to make a day trip to hongchun. I feels like, i did not make full use of my day there. Just a little bit of waste of time in such an arrangement.Pls advise.

You are suggested to take the evening train a day in advance and then live in the Tangkou Town. Then you can have a full time journey in the first day. At night of the first day, you can live on the top of mountain to enjoy the sunset view. You can take cable cars to ascend and go down the mountain, which will save you a lot of energy. After the two day’s trip in Huangshan, you can begin your third day trip to hongcun.
