Kunming - Lijiang

Is the new fast train from Kunming to Lijiang in operation now? Where can I read some update on this. I'm planning to visit Lijiang in September. Thanks

I think the new high speed rides is for Kunming-Dali route, not for Lijiang. There are still only normal rides between Kunming and Lijiang
