About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

What happens if you're denied 72 hour transit at Xian customs?

Do we have to stay at airport until our next flight or immediately have to buy ticket to third country?

If your itinerary and passport qualify, you shouldn’t be denied in Xi’an. If not, your airline should deny your boarding at your origin.
