About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Dear Sir Madam, Visa Question

I plan to do following trip;
Siem Reap - Beijing - Seoul (on the 144 hour twov)
Then 3 days later,
Seoul - Beijing - Dubai (on either 72 hour or 24 twov)
Can you confirm the above is correct and I do not require any embassy entry permit?
Thank you
Anthony

Its eligible for the 144 hour (TWOV) as long as Beijing is the only city in China your planes will land and take off from. Just note if your stop on the return trip through Beijing is under 24 hours you will only be given the 24 hour TWOV. The 72 hour TWOV was phased out when the 144 hour TWOV went into place.

Thank you. And If I wanted to stay on the second journey into Beijing for longer than 24 hours, could I get another 144 hour twov even though I had one a week or so earlier?
Thanks

You can. However, keep in mind that the length of the TWOV permit depends on the length of your layover, and if you present an onward ticket leaving in 24 hours, you can only get a 24-hour TWOV permit and not the 144-hour one. The issuance of 24-hour TWOV permits is not automatic and is up to the immigration officer.
