I fly from Dublin to PEK, landing in terminal t1, then have to go out of transit zone, go to terminal t2 for new check in and fly out to Shanghai same day. I have Port visa documents to enter Shanghai, where I will get my visa stamped on passport. But dont have visa for PEK. There will not be problem for me to get out and change terminals?

I’m afraid you need to get a visa in Beijing first then you can transfer to Shanghai.

I confirm that. With such 144-hour visa ... you can't land in TWO airports in Mainland China. In your case it would be TWO: Shanghai and Beijing.

My second answer after reading again your question.

: Are you flying to another country (not Irland) after Shanghai? That is compulsory for a 144-hour visa.

: If the answer is "yes": In your case, you can't at all land in another airport in China even if it was a transit of 15 minutes in Beijing. It is compulsory that you have a ticket landing only in Shanghai or Beijing then later heading to another country.

: If the answer is "no": You can't at all have a free visa.

Because you have that transit and probably already paid for the tickets ....

You have to apply for a real visa or change with a lot of money your flights to land only once in China. With a paid visa, you can just do a return trip from Irland to many cities in China in the same travel.
