About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit
Does Xiamen still allow 72 hour stay for US passengers arriving from and departing to Taiwan?

Xiamen never allowed it as it's not a transit.
When you arrive from Taiwan you have to fly to another country then Taiwan to be in transit and use the 72h twov.
