About:International Trains from/to China

Is it possible to purchase an international ticket in any station in china?

Hello,

Is it possible to purchase a ticket, say i want to go to almaty, kazakhstan, instead of getting it in Urumqi, can i get it in advance in another city in china, say i live in Changsha, Hunan?

No, as I know these international trips have special office for the ticket. You cannot get it from another station or online like normal tickets. I suppose you need to buy it in Urumqi or you can try to search a local travel agent in Urumqi for this booking service.
