Can you give me suggestions how to start my journey from KL to go to Chongqing to take the Yangtze river cruise. The best and economical mode of travel from Yichang to Shanghai.with an elderly lady with the fare

I suggest you buy the cruise tickets online or from a travel agency in advance if you intend to take a Yangtze River cruise. You can take a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Chongqing firstly. Upon arrival at Chongqing, you can board the cruise. After four days cruise on Yangtze River, you will disembark at Yichang. To save your money, I advise you to take a high-speed train from Yichang to Shanghai which will spend around 7-8 hours on the way, and the fare is ranging from CNY347 to CNY423 per person for second class seats.
