About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit visa question. I am attending a conference in Qingdao for 3 days.

I booked my flights Paris -> Seoul -> Qingdao and the outbound flight 3 days after is Qingdao -> Seoul -> Paris. I was told by the conference organizers that this should be fine. Is this true? I am worried that I am flying to/from China from the same spot (Seoul).

What should I do in case I cannot make it for a visa? For some serious reasons I was not able to apply for entry permit so far.

Obviously not ok without a visa because you’re not in transit. You must get a visa or change your flights (eg to Qingdao-Hong Kong- Seoul).
