multiple entry. can i exit china with my temporary residence permitre-entry?

I'm currently on an X-2 6-month Student Visa and am wondering if I can exit and re-enter China multiple times during those 6 months. My X-2 only allows 1 entry into China, but I'm not sure if the 1-entry rule is still applicable after I got my temporary permanent residence permit.

Hi, as you hold single entry X2 type, you are not allowed to exit and re-enter China multiple times during those 6 months. Once you leave China, your student X2 type will expire.
