getting a canadian criminal check while living in china.

Question

I am changing teaching jobs in China and need to get a new criminal record check for my new visa application which then I need notarized by the Chinese Embassy or Consulate, although I have not left China in the last two years since coming here. How do I get a Canadian Criminal Record check, while still here in China. Do I need to return to Canada or can I get it done while here in China?
