About:China Transit Visa

Do I need a Visa to stay at a hotel for the night and leaving the airport?

Hello,

I have a 12 hour layover coming from Thailand with my ending destination being the United States (passport holder of United States).

You can enjoy 24 hr twov in mainland China if you will transit in a qualifying city. No visa would be needed. Nice trip.
