About:Visa Policy of China

Private matter Visa

Good day

I am going to China to teach english and my fiancé wants to go with me. He has his own business in SA and has a flexible schedule to be with me in China for 6 months or a year. What visa could he apply for? Would he be able to apply for a Private matter entry permit that will allow him to stay longer than 180 days?

Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Cindy

Hi, Cindy, your fiance cannot apply for an S type for mainland China. He can try to apply for a one-year multiple entries tourist L type for mainland China.
