About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi Are we eligible for 144hr free visa

We fly from Aust to shanghai on 20 August stay in shanghai for 4 nights, board a cruise to Korea which arrives in Hong Kong a week later. I am pretty sure the first part covers the 144hr free transit, but what happens when you enter again for 24hours by ship?. Please note that the cruise disembarks in Australia ðŸ˜
