Spouse of a Chinese citizen : do I still need an invitation letter

Hi,

My husband (Chinese citizen on a study permit in Canada) and I (Canadian citizen) will go to China for the first time together at the end of July. We won't live in hotels since my husband still has a family apartment in his hometown, and therefore we won't have any hotel booking's proof. Since we are going together, do I still need an invitation letter from a member of his family in China? Also, we booked our tickets via a Chinese website and don't need tickets to board, we will only show our passport and they have an electronic list. Will I be fine to just use the confirmation number and the informations of the flights?

Thank you

Hi, I think you need to provide an invitation letter from a member of his family in China for that application. It will be fine to just use the confirmation number and the information of the flights. No need to worry.
