About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

We are on a Celebrity Cruise in October/November departing Shanghai.

We are staying for 3 nights in Shanghai prior to the cruise.
We are in the port of Tianjin for 3 days arriving from Incheon South Korea.
We would like to do a 2 days Beijing excursion then return to the ship.
Will we be able to get off the ship on the 3rd day and go to visit Tianjin.

Yes, there is no problem for you to visit Tianjin and BJ.

I have now read that because our ship goes from Seoul (Incheon) South Korea to Tianjin/Beijing for 3 days and our next port of call is Jeju Island South Korea, we will not qualify for the free visa policy.
Is that correct?
