The Great Wall of China persevered it by having laws, and other manmade protection. On Sep. 20 of 2006 the state government decide to make laws to protect the wall. Things that are forbidden is to take away earth, bricks, stones and plant crops, vandalism and graffiti. It is also illegal to take away any pieces of the wall from the floor. The government is also urging the public to protect and improve the environment, so it can reduce acid rain as it is a big problem.
