transit visa Qindao and Pu Dong

I am a citizen of Azerbaijan studying in Seoul, South Korea.
I have to attend conference in the US, and intend to purchase tickets with transit in TAO Qindao and PVG Shanghai Pu Dong.

I would like to know if I need to apply for transit G or any kind of visa, and if there will be any problems regarding my transit flight.
I do not intend to go out of both airports and will have a 5 and 7 hour layover in the airports.
