About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Beijing, Tianjin & Hebei

Can I travel by train from Bejing to Xian and back during 144 hours.

I arrive in Bejing by air from Uk, and depart Bejing by Cruise ship, next stop Japan. By traveling from Bejing to Xian and back during my 5 day visit will I qualify for 144 hour free visa?

If you are staying more than 24 hours in China, you cannot visit Xian and Beijing on the same trip without a Chinese visa.
